Monday, yadnoM…(keep reading and you’ll understand…maybe)

Monday, monday…

…another weekend under our belts - another day at C3.

Now it’s back to the real world: backpacks, lunches, laundry, car lines, more laundry…

C3 rocks. Barbaric Grace rocks. Hillsong United rocks.

So, it inspired me to get through another week. And to remember how blessed I am to have:

…backpacks, lunches, laundry, car lines, and even more laundry.

Monday, monday…

a good day to stay in and repair my “nest” after the craziness of the weekend - the girls had Homecoming among the typical stuff. Pics to come soon. They were both beautiful, of course.

Yesterday, we had lunch with the Jacobsons and the Conrads. It was so nice to just hang out with people who understand…

There was some discussion about how heavy my blog can be at times (I think the words “breakdown” and “suicidal” were thrown around). So, I’ll work on lightening things up…although I happen to think Shakespeare is very uplifting…

No, I don’t! Who am I kidding? I just like stuff like that. Does the term “Drama Queen” mean nothing to you people?!!

Well, I better go find some funny blonde jokes or something…

Wait! I thought of something funny that happened last week that I filed away. Here you go:

Last week was my girls’ Homecoming/Spirit week. Each day had a “dress up” theme. On Friday they were to show their best TMA spirit - face paint, homemade t-shirts, ribbons everywhere, etc.. So, on the way to school, Byron noticed something odd. The girls’ faces said, “OG AMT”. Not sure what that stood for, he pointed it out to them. They realized, in horror, that they had written the words while looking in the mirror. So, “GO TMA” was “OG AMT”…

Oh well, we always mean well even if some things get lost in translation.

Our team did win, so I guess they understand our language (”La-La Land-ish”). OG AMT. OG, THGIF, NIW!!!

Have fun today!

It’s November, and I am Blessed!

Some of my very favorite people in the world make November a wonderful month…a month for my own thanksgiving!

My little sister and two of my best friends were born in November…during the same week!

  • Laurie: My sister and friend turned 25 this week! I’m proud of her love and passion for God, and her desire to see other’s spiritual…and physical needs met through Christ. She has a big heart and personality, and I’m so glad that God chose to bless me and my family with her. Love you, Laurie!
  • Karla: Even though we’re far apart, I know that when we’re together, it will always be like there’s never been any distance. Thank you for your heart to be a loyal and encouraging friend. I wish we lived closer…I miss you. Love you!
  • Amanda: God has greatly blessed me by giving me a friend like you. You will never know what your presence has meant over the last few years…there are no words - Just know that I am truly grateful. Love you!

The blessing of true and loyal friendship is just that: A blessing from God - and I am thankful for these blessings today! Laurie, Karla and Amanda: Thank you for your love and friendship. I am truly SO GLAD YOU WERE BORN!!! Thank you for knowing me and…still choosing to love me (love does win, you know!).

Happy, Happy Birthday!…Peace out.
