Christmas Whirlwind…

What day is it?

I’ve asked myself this question so many times over the past few weeks. I feel like I’m trying to take a “stroll” through the middle of a tornado…

We’ve accomplished some necessary stuff today - the top of the list, for me, is trekking out to the airport post office to finally get my Christmas cards in the mail…with hopes that they will arrive (Christmas cd and all) some time before January!

We are packing up Byron’s office, study and storage closet - does one human being really need a gazillion books!!!??? Unless they are me (don’t send a grammar comment - I know it should be “I”), and especially if I have to be involved in any part of packing them - I say there should be a 2 book limit! It would make everything so much easier.

We are also reorganizing our house - all up in the middle of Christmas parties, staff meetings and holiday preparations…And there’s been some talk of finally getting around to addressing our “old house bathroom woes” - with the cold tonight, I would do hard labor for a bathtub.

That’s kind of the way we do things - if life is crazy and out of control busy, well then of course, we should begin a major remodeling project…or three.

Oh yeah, and I volunteered to host Christmas dinner at my house this year - at last count, there will be around 24 people coming over. And my freezer won’t begin to hold a 20 lb. turkey!!! Okay, I’m just hyperventilating a little bit - if only I had a bathtub!

As it is, I’m sitting by a beautiful fire, blogging and drinking hot chocolate…

Seriously, what more could I ask for? The craziness will just have to wait - I’m going to stare at the fire for a little while and dream…

Peace.

I’m having heart palpitations (sp?) just READING about everything you’re doing! You definitely need a bathtub…a really big one…with jets! Love ya!

We’ve been “remodeling” for abt a yr now. We’re adding 1300 sq ft to my mother in laws house (we had to move in to take care of her). But when its all over I’ll have a 2 person soaker jacuzzi tub in my new master bedroom.
You didn’t take your cards to the Christmas, Fl post office for that “special” postmark? lol
Have a good one and Peace to You

ps if you have a medical reason to need a tub to soak in…ie back problems..your dr can write a Rx
for it and you get it tax free.

Maybe we can go sneak into one of the hot tubs at a resort somewhere. I’ll be sure to wear my C3 bathing suit. Just in case we get caught.
