Who can say why some posts are read and reread so much more than others - But as we enter a brand new year, I thought I would post a compilation of some of the more “popular” posts of 2007. You chose them by your searches and clicks, so here you go:
“Shelter Friends” - my very first post. This one is often found by searching “Switzerland” and “chalet” - it started it all!
“Happy Wednesday!” - With this post, I decided to find the funny and happy in life…and celebrate it in the middle of the week…Just Because! It also began the blonde jokes. Thanks to all of you who have contributed and who have looked forward to being “happy” on Wednesday! ![]()
“A Message to Martha (Martha, Martha, Martha…)” and “The Biggest Loser” are still read on a regular basis - maybe because they’re a little more “forward” in my approach to women and their issues.
“Renaissance Man” is a tribute to Byron and the journey he’s been on…a journey of “Barbaric Grace”.
Forgiveness, letting go and boundaries have been reoccurring themes of 2007. Here are some posts that echo these parts of my journey: “Letting Go“, “Breaking Free“, “In Dreams“, “Just Breathe“, and “Seventy Times Seven“.
Music moves me. This past year, I’ve often highlighted the music of “Hillsong United” - here are some posts that highlight their music: “The Art of Losing“, “…To The Rescue“, “Lead Me” and “Reprise“.
The Remains of the Day posts are written to sum up my Sundays. This particular “Remains of the Day” seems to be reread the most often.
Poetry and prose are a big part of this blog. “Heaven Will Know” is the most often read. (It also includes an awesome Amnesty International/Nickleback video!)
Thanks to all of you who read, comment, and contribute. This has been a long, and ever evolving journey - thanks for sharing in it.
Welcome 2008!
Peace to you all.
