It’s so quiet in the house right now…it’s weird…it’s never quiet - too many dogs, kids, meetings…whatever…always something going on - except quietness. The puppy’s even sleeping - so, real quiet! I think I get so used to the noise that I hardly know what to do when it’s this quiet. It’s like the quiet has it’s own sound…and it can be loud.

Of course, the boys get out of school soon, the puppy will be awake soon, the dryer will be buzzing soon, the house will be bustling again…soon. So, I suppose I should just listen…and enjoy.

See…I’m still in my “blogging funk” - now I’m down to writing about the sound of silence!

Actually, that’s a pretty heavy thing to ponder.

So, perhaps I should take this “quiet time” to do just that.

or maybe I’ll just take a nap instead!
