I must be Swedish too…

…after all, I’m pretty much everything else.

So, that must be why I can’t seem to stay away from Ikea…It’s like an illness!!

Tonight I decided to carry my new Swedish obsession on into dinner time. I fixed Swedish meatballs, with cream sauce and lingonberries…

When Ethan saw what we were having he said, “Oh my gosh, this looks GOOD!!

I’m not sure what struck me more, his excitement that it looked so good…or his surprise that it looked so good! Oh well, leave it to the Swedes to be able to accomplish making ME look like a good cook. :-)
Maybe tomorrow will be an Ikea-free day…maybe! It needs to be…I have way too much to do this week - besides, if I keep going, I’ll have to get a job there…

anyway…Peace out.

What are lingonberries? And do they go IN the meatballs? I love Ikea, too. My kids actually beg to go there. Ansley asked if she could have her birthday party there!

    That’s awesome…oh yeah, Happy Birthday, Ansley (tomorrow! :-) )
I want to have my birthday party there too…
Lingonberries are kind of like having cranberries with a turkey dinner…only sweeter. It was easy and pretty phenom, if I do say so myself.
I’m just so happy that I don’t have to run a 5K…well, at least for right now…not til sometime next February, I’m thinking! :-) Have a great one.

Just so you know, I don’t like the lingonberries and now that I’m thinking about it I don’t like cranberries either. Oh well, just thought I’d let you know in the event that the delicious meatballs show up at a staff meeting or family dinner or anything. Just thought you like to know. :-)

What would make it even better is having the “sweedish chef” accent from the muppets while you are cooking and serving … :o)
    I bet it tasted magnificent.
