We had a different kind of service today at C3…one that was kind of…low key. This was okay with me since I’ve been in a pretty low key mood for the past few days.
I love the energy of our normal services…I’m a huge fan of the electric guitar…huge - but, it felt nice to take it all down a few notches and just sing, pray, take communion, hear about life-change, see a video collage of many of the baptisms that have taken place over the last year…and just concentrate on the blessings of God.
As we sang “God of this City“, I knew it was true: “Greater things are yet to come - greater things are still to be done in this city” because “there is no one like our God“. It was just the encouragement that I needed.
Feeling my church family around me, and being reminded of all that God has done, and will do, was the highlight of my week - and I’m so grateful.
So, no matter what happens this week, I know I’ll be okay…
I just needed to remember these things.
Thanks C3 for the reminder.
Peace.
