Monday…infinity.
Remember when it was cool to play the “one-up” game where you would go back and forth until someone would “win” by saying “…infinity.” - that is, until someone else would start adding things to infinity like “infinity plus a kazillion”…but I digress.
Actually, I can’t really “digress” since I have no real point…but I digress. (Apparently, now whenever I decide to change my topic, I just type “but I digress” and voila: said topic changed.
I’m still feeling the energy from the services yesterday. I’m always worn out on Monday, but there were so many things that were such an encouragement to me. Our numbers were up even though it’s summertime, giving has increased greatly, and people are excited about finding their place to minister to the community around them - you can see it in their eyes.
It’s such an understatement for me to say “I really needed that!” - I can’t possibly verbalize how much I needed it…desperately.
Byron spoke about how we can all get weary from our laboring - especially in a portable church - and I’ve been so weary lately. But one way we can combat this is by stopping to really see the fruits of our labor…and of the hand of God.
So, today is a typical Monday…and it’s not - all at the same time…
So it’s all good.
Infinity…final.

Angie,
This is just an FYI…this Friday evening in front of the UCF Arena we are showing Horton Hears a Who. It’s outside in the plaza area. They blow up a huge screen and bring out couches and chairs. You can bring a picnic or eat at one of the eateries (Brickoven Pizza, Subway etc) the event starts at 7:30 and the movie at 9pm. In case you want something free to do with the kids (Byron’s blog) or to pass the info along.
You can park at Jim’s building (the Student Union) or parking is free in the garages.
Thanks
P.S we’ve given out all our bracelets, Jim gave one to the guy who installed our alarm system last night!
