So, this is the top floor of my 3 story treehouse in Black Mtn., N.C….

I’m missing that little cabin today…because there’s one thing that is just so awesome about a vacation home:

LESS HOUSEWORK!!!!!!!!!!!

I got to stay in this serene and tranquil haven with no closets that I really need to clean out, no kid’s rooms piled with toys, no junk in the garage…no garage. We ate out almost every meal…so not much clean up in the kitchen.

And when we left, we were told to leave the beds we had used UNMADE and put the other dirty linens on the FLOOR in a pile………….so the cleaning service could wash them!!!!!!!! (really, there are no words!)

I was a great homemaker in my little Cheshire tree house…awesome.
I’m not so great back here in the real world - which is why I’m dreaming today of my tree house…reminiscing about how it was for those brief days when it seemed like I rocked housekeeping….

Oh well, at least I still have my memories…
