it’s monday…
i always wear my sunglasses while i eat breakfast on monday…
i always love to sit around with my face clean…no makeup…(not even glitter) and my hair pulled back - wearing something comfy and unattractive…
of course, we’re at the beach today, so i mostly wore a bathing suit all day. that’s definitely the way to spend a monday: by the ocean with good friends…
i woke to hear of some dear c3 members who suffered a terrible loss…cried some…prayed a lot - then sat in a window seat and read the psalms (with my sunglasses on, of course). some grief just seems too much to bear…it can feel overwhelming - but i pray for the peace and comfort of God…
so it’s monday and that’s just how it is on a monday.
we said goodbye to our good friends (yea for the bond family!) and said hello to some other good friends (yea for darrell and andrea), and i’m getting ready to cook…shrimp, scallops, steamed veggies…(yea for food at the beach…it just tastes better!).
so this monday has been like many others: a roller coaster of emotions…a day made for sunglasses and flannel pants…
and friends…
but it’s a monday and that’s just how it is on a monday…
