so….
…i know i haven’t written in a while - a long time, for me.
it’s been crazy since we arrived here in texas.
all of the reunion events were good. it was interesting to see how people had changed…or hadn’t.
so many people were surprised at how different byron was from high school…especially that he is now in the ministry - and speaking in front of people since he was so quiet back then. (probably hard for most of you to imagine).
i was reminded that people can change…
…some choose not to, but even though it’s human nature to try to put people in a box, we should allow for change and growth. none of us should be defined by a few years out of our lives forever, and it was good to see people after they’ve matured and begun to live in adulthood…
it was awesome to see the difference it makes when people give their lives to Christ…that part was just awesome.
for the most part, it was good - more like therapy, though, than fun. i think i’m still trying to process it all. but, mostly, i’m just worn out. i guess i’m getting too old to stay out late and “party”…
…oh well, it’s for the best. when i get home, i can go back to going to bed at 9. ![]()
i think i’m ready for that.
it will be nice to be home.
peace.
