From where I’ve been He’s carried me on wings of sacrifice
And when I called, He answered me - though seas of shame had drown my cries
From sorrow to a symphony - from agony and strife…
Eternal peace my destiny, since Christ laid down His life.
From where I stood He built a bridge of hammered nails and cruel wood
Not simply mortal carpentry - He made a way as only He could
Entwined - as one - the Bridge, the Man…the God who saves as only He can.
And where I fell, He lifted me - and now on grace I stand.
From where you are, He’s ransomed you - His blood has paid the price
And hope in Glory offers you…a home in Paradise.
Reach out today, embrace His love - His arms are open wide
Receive the pardon paid for you, this gift: Eternal life.
From where I’ve been He’s carried me….His blood has paid the price. -A.L.B.
