We went to one of our houses, since we couldnt get in contact with them and the family there had NO idea what was going on…they knew no one by the name we had. It was kind of upsetting. I hope we can get that fixed. But we got to drop food at our other house and it was a great expeirence! I cant wait for you guys to meet with your families

I hope you feel better,too. Right now!
I am joining you on the River of Denial. Today I “had” a sore throat and stopped up nose. I told everyone tearing down Powerhouse that I had no time for a cold and was immune, I’m ignoring the fever I have right now (I did take tylenol) and am living on Cold Ease. All the Nurse Practioners I work with swear by it.( the pink grapefruit taste the least aweful)
We finally connected with our first family, but it was the second one assigned that had Jim and I walking away in tears. The young Mom and her 2 kids really put things into focus for us durning the holiday season. When I asked about prayer requests she started to cry and couldn’t speak. I asked her “Everything?” and she said “yes, everything”
I want to see if we can get her a Christmas tree, I know I have extra ornaments…
ps I can’t figure out how to use the reporting form or it’s broken.

Thanks for blogging and sharing your life with us. You are an encouragement. I hope you are feeling better soon. We were able to go deliver our food today to our family. We are so blessed and we don’t even realize it most of the time.

We haven’t gotten a hold of our family yet either…I can’t wait to hopefully talk to them soon!
And I hope you start to feel better…there’s something going around- Matt and me are both sick!
