I’m still on my Blackberry, so this might take me awhile…
Here’s a few of my thoughts(pros ‘n cons) from the morning:
#1 - “Getting my fix”:
CON:
Since riding a Harley and drinking coffee doesn’t mix well - a person must try to guzzle a steaming latte in 8.5 minutes or less - without losing all of her tastebuds through a horrific burning incident…
PRO:
A “Triple Tall - 3 Splenda Latte is easier to drink fast, costs less and contains the same amount of caffeine as my usual “Triple Venti”…as to the burning part - well, let’s just say I won’t be tasting anything for the foreseeable future…
#2 - “Beethoven Biker”:
PRO:
Byron, having pity on me because of my said burnt tongue asked what kind of music I would prefer while riding the bike - I said “classical” - he, being sweet, obliged…classical violin concerto ensued…
CON:
Being unfamiliar with this bike, we had to sit @ 2 different intersections, serenaded by violins…on a Harley…in Texas!!!
#3 - “Cowboy Harley”:
PRO:
75 mph on bike feels like 100 mph in a car…
CON:
80 mph on a bike feels like 150…on a bicycle!!
#4 - “Rude Awakening”:
PRO:
Southeast Texas is full of wide open spaces, so one can really ride…FAST!
CON:
Because of the heat and storms, Southeast Texas is ALSO full of road-work…and POTHOLES!!
#5 - “…and I will speak of it!”:
CON:
When one hits a pothole on a bike @ excessive rates of speed - and “one’s” blonde wife already has a hyrniated spine - one will not hear the end of it!
PRO:
When said blonde speaks of it - and she will speak of it! - she will sound like a really cool “biker chic” talking about her motorcycle “injury”!
And, now I can add carpel tunnel syndrome to my list for the day from typing this blog on my Blackberry…with my darn “Bon Qui Qui” nails…
So…
Peace to the out!

Sound like you all are having fun! Miss you
Wait you rode from FL to Texas on that thing? Girl, you are a good one!
Just to clarify:
We rented a bike, just for the day, once we got to Beaumont - so I’m not as hard core as you thought, Cyndi! One full day is about all I can take!
Ok, that I can see. I kept thinking about how my tush would feel after a ride like that! LOL
I love the way u described it all….I pictured it all, and it was quite funny! I have only been on a bike, once since our wreck in October, and I am in sum kinda sick way looking forward to my next ride. The only problem is that it isn’t a cruiser bike and I’m not sure Joe knows how to ride at any speed under triple digits…….I may have to do the driving just to make sure I don’t end up in the woods again….LOL
I hope you guys are having a great time.
