And So on…

…and so on….

I couldn’t sleep - so I was looking at great vintage style clothing…gorgeous, but very PRICEY! :-(

Then, I thought, “maybe I could just “recreate” these fabulous things….maybe.

Anyway, I looked up some “How To” sites and looked at some pictures of things I want to make - minus the hefty pricetag.

…next thing I knew I was rifling through a bag of Goodwill clothing I picked up for a few dollars…just for the fabrics.

An hour later I had cut out a “hat” out of a kids hoodie sweater, made a homemade “rosette”, attached it and some other random things….

and voila - I had my first finished project from “ANGIE’S MAKING THINGS HERSELF….so she doesn’t spend a fortune in Anthropology since she really really adores that store…just walking into it, she feels so….at home” - uhhum…but, I digress.

Oh well, it may be almost midnight, and I’ll probably be a zombie in the morning,

But, who cares……

CREATIVE PURSUITS CANNOT BE DENIED!  (Pictures to follow….hopefully!).

So, I say “Seize the Day”, even if the end result is just a ragamuffin hat!

:-)

Peace.

Ang, check out the hats at Urban Outfitters (Millenium Mall) they have a sale bin and I picked up a trio of vintage style hats for $10, they were originally $40 each. The black and brown ones are the brand EEK! by Eugenia Kim and I also scored a beautiful light blue one by Kimichi Blue, it is so 40’s style. You can borrow them any time you like…have fun making your own though, it is always better than store bought! Love you, Chris
