So, the sun is setting - literally and figuratively - on our time by the sea.
I’m such an ocean girl, so I’m a little sad about this, but at the same time, I’m ready to get back home to my normal (and I do use that term very loosely ) routine.
I took a few pics - not as many as I would have liked, though - fun things always seemed to happen when I didn’t have my camera handy…
But, here are just a few:
Staking our territory...in the rain!
Football on the beach!
Ethan catchin' a wave
Baby Kael...
Nate taking a break
My sister Katie, my girls...and me!
Chillin' with my mom...
Ashley...holding my hand
Oh yeah, and then there was this one (thanks to Byron’s quick hand with the camera!!)
So, ever since I was a teenager sitting in high school French class, I have dreamed of going to Southern France. I have a love of all things Provincial…
I also adore English Tea…I’ve had “High Tea” in London and it was everything I thought it would be.
Yesterday, Byron and I went to Epcot to visit both “England” and “France” to pick up a few things for the upcoming “Girl’s Night Out” I’m hosting for the Women of C3.
I’m so excited to have these ladies to my home, and since it’s at my house…
WE’RE HAVING A TEA PARTY!!
I also picked up some French Provincial decorations. Hey, all things with me are….eclectic! I definitely think French decor and “High Tea” can blend together in harmony!
It’s going to be a blast! If you haven’t joined the “Women of C3″ contact list, please visit the website, and send your name and email info to womenofc3@c3orlando.com.
I’m really looking forward to getting up early and being in the middle of the hustle & bustle of the day. Plus, it’s our Ashley’s SWEET SIXTEEN! (I’ll write more about that tomorrow - I can’t believe she’s turning 16….wow!).
Then, Sunday @ C3is a special day. It’s the one year anniversary of the sale of the old church buildings. There are many emotions around this anniversary, but mainly I’m just so glad to be where we now are.
It’s going to be a busy weekend…too busy to spend a lot of time thinking about the past - we don’t have time for that…so we’ll just keep moving forward….
Big girls don't cry = Reason #56 why it's hard being big. Reason #756 why it's hard being a girl. 2010/09/02
