…makes me smile

So, here’s a little “Ethan Update”:

On the way to school, I asked him how his Bible reading was coming. He sighed and said, “Good. I’m on page 26…I’ll just be glad when I get finished!”

The sky was ah-mazing this morning…I couldn’t stop looking at it.

We were waiting at the drive-thru window at Starbucks, and I said, “Where’d my coffee go?” Byron said, “You haven’t gotten your coffee yet?” I said, “Really? I could’ve sworn I was just drinking my coffee a second ago!” He said, “Honey, I think that was yesterday!”

Maybe I should spend less time staring at the sky…

Where was I?

Oh yeah…Have a great Friday! Peace out.

Tall, Blonde Psychopaths…and other childhood memories.

It’s kind of a surreal thing to turn on the t.v. and see someone you grew up with…

My crazy, childhood friend, Beth Littleford, gives me that surreal feeling often. She’s on “Spin City” right now - it was the line “a tall blond psychopath” that perked up my ears (maybe because it’s a little close to home)…and I thought, “Maybe Beth’s on…” No lie. Of all the tall blonde psychopaths in the world, she’s definitely my favorite.

She’s also currently in the “Laughing Cow” cheese commercial. She’s hilarious and could always make me laugh…even when I was five.

Thanks for making me laugh today, Beth! :-) …I really needed it.

Peace.

My Superbowl Party!

Here he is:

Axel Barbarian.

The flash is too bright!

He’s frisky after his bath!

Gotta go cheer now!

Go, Axel, go!!

P.S. He’s a German Shepherd if you didn’t figure it out by my hints below. :-)
Peace.

The Remains of the Day

It’s Superbowl Sunday, but I’m not watching football. I care even less about the two teams playing than I normally do when watching a game…I’m just not in a football kind of mood.

Besides, I got a new friend today and I’d rather play with him.

He’s adorable. His name is “Axel” - (Axel Barbarian, to be exact!), and he’s more fun than the Superbowl, any day.

He’ll make his pictorial debut soon….’til then, I’ll just let you guess what he looks like. Hint: He’s of European descent. His parents like to hang out with law enforcement. And his name is German for a reason! :-)
This morning was awesome. I love C3 now…there’s no cloud of negativity…no dissension - it feels the way church should always feel for everyone. Like a breath of fresh air…

So, now I’m gonna go chill - Byron, the boys (the girls have “Superbowl Plans”), our THREE dogs…and me. Who could ask for more?

Peace out.
