…even on a Monday…

I think this photo looks like an impressionist painting….it makes me happy! I have a love affair with the sky….and I always have. I used to stare at the clouds, as a child, and pretend I was up there - in their “fluffiness”……….I still have my head in the clouds, most days.
I’ve set aside today to look for my little shopping cart girl. I’ve been dreaming about her a lot lately…and this post reminded me that sometimes dreams can inspire us to work harder - that I can’t ever forget those who can’t help themselves.
I have this dream that, maybe someday, my little shopping cart girl will be able to stare at the clouds too, and dream her little girl dreams….
…and maybe I can help her make one or two come true.
That would really be a dream to me.

Peace.
So, ever since I was a teenager sitting in high school French class, I have dreamed of going to Southern France. I have a love of all things Provincial…

I also adore English Tea…I’ve had “High Tea” in London and it was everything I thought it would be.
Yesterday, Byron and I went to Epcot to visit both “England” and “France” to pick up a few things for the upcoming “Girl’s Night Out” I’m hosting for the Women of C3.
I’m so excited to have these ladies to my home, and since it’s at my house…
WE’RE HAVING A TEA PARTY!!

I also picked up some French Provincial decorations. Hey, all things with me are….eclectic! I definitely think French decor and “High Tea” can blend together in harmony!
It’s going to be a blast! If you haven’t joined the “Women of C3″ contact list, please visit the website, and send your name and email info to womenofc3@c3orlando.com.
Paix et amour à vous!
…when I can sit and think for a second - until then, I’m just gonna link to this post since it made me smile….
Have a great Saturday! :-) (Stop and smell the flowers!)

Happiness is a rose garden...
Peace.
….yeah, it is.
I’m in such a fog….just worn out - and it’s gonna be a crazy/busy weekend. I’ve been getting ready for the yard sale:
Thanks: Andrea, Karen, Matt & Monica, and Kayleigh & Barry for your help getting ready…
I’m really looking forward to getting up early and being in the middle of the hustle & bustle of the day. Plus, it’s our Ashley’s SWEET SIXTEEN! (I’ll write more about that tomorrow - I can’t believe she’s turning 16….wow!).
Then, Sunday @ C3 is a special day. It’s the one year anniversary of the sale of the old church buildings. There are many emotions around this anniversary, but mainly I’m just so glad to be where we now are.
It’s going to be a busy weekend…too busy to spend a lot of time thinking about the past - we don’t have time for that…so we’ll just keep moving forward….
I’ll see you on the flip side!
Come see me @ The Avalon Yard Sale and help provide some much needed things for a beautiful family immigrating from Cuba. It’s gonna be a great day!
(You can bring me stuff to sell or things to donate to the family like:
- toiletries
- clothing for boys (5 and 14)
- toys
- school supplies
- canned goods and household supplies).
Hope to see you there!
Peace.
