they’ve returned.
they’ve forgiven me.
three cardinals.
two blue-jays.
two others i’ll have to look up. (i think they’re sparrows).
they ate, played, sang…acted like this is their home again.
they’ve returned, and all is right with the world…
peace.
Just another WordPress weblog

Normally, I would be in meetings this morning, but I got a reprieve…
I just needed to stay in and be a homebody this morning - clean my house, do some laundry, “veg” a little.
I think all the drive-thru windows while traveling are taking a toll on me…so, I just feel yucky.
But, some housework, lots of water, and some real/whole food will fix me.
I watched a YouTube video of “Super Size Me” just to be reminded…
The fast-food industry really doesn’t care about our health…that’s up to us - but, I won’t get on my soap-box again today (I feel too sluggish and drained…).
It feels good to mop the kitchen, but WHITE TILE!!! - what were they thinking (the former owners who remodeled the kitchen) - they must not have had messy people/animals living in this house like we do now…Seriously, I don’t know why I even bother. I should just let the tile get completely dirt covered and tell everyone it’s new brown tile…
I can’t wait until lunch…I would love to try the new “Designer Greens” restaurant at Waterford that Andrea mentioned - Byron and I definitely need something green and unprocessed…it’s going to be lovely!!!
- I don’t really care where we go, as long as it doesn’t involve a WINDOW!!
Gotta go put on another load of laundry…I’m going for a personal record today!
Eat something real - you’re body will thank you. ![]()
Don’t sunflowers just make you smile?
Smile, and be blessed today.
Peace out.
So, we’re just coming in.
Ethan said, “I can already see the moon!” (at only 6:30, that usually means it’s fall, for sure).
Traveling wears me out - how does sitting still for hours do that?
Tomorrow it’s back to the grindstone…
I wonder if I can still hear the cranes…maybe they haven’t gone by yet.
Josh came back with us (we caravan-ed) - he’s here for good now. His enthusiasm inspires all of us.
I was thinking, last night as Byron was praying over him at his ordination, that it doesn’t seem that long since Byron was ordained…
and it probably won’t be that long until my boys will be launching out into the world - in whatever profession they will be called to.
Time goes quickly.
I hope that when my kids become adults…
…they can still “see the moon” and every other beautiful thing around them.
Here’s to shooting for the moon.
Peace.
