In Case You Were Wondering…

So, I think I’m blogging just to say I don’t think I’m gonna blog right now. I have no words. I don’t have an explanation for this. I just don’t have anything to say. I’m cool with it, too…I think….yeah, I’m cool with it. Just wanted to get that off my chest. Peace out.

P.S. I’m really excited about C3 Day at Moss Park…peace out, again.

P.S.S. Here are my pics from Moss Park…peace out, forever.

A P.S. for Thursday….

By the by, since I’m lovin’ me some Bledsoe kids today, I thought I’d link to my oldest daughter’s blog (Kayleigh) - she writes about her brothers and sister in her latest post. It’s just another window into our world. (Welcome to the jungle!…)

Also, be sure to check my “Blogroll” - I’m adding blogs of interest all the time. My latest addition is one of a pastor here in Central Florida - Byron and I are looking forward to getting to know Pastor Joseph and his wife Sola, and already know that they are kindred spirits. Check out his blog here.

And, just for fun, Byron has decided to allow comments…this should make our lives even more interesting! Just a little F.Y.I..

Have a happy Thursday….Thursdays need love too! :-)

Peace.

The Remains of the Day

So, this morning came too soon. Because of technological advances, we actually woke at 3:30 instead of 5:30. We did go back to bed when we realized it, but not really back to sleep so….

so, today started way too early.

I was excited to go to C3. Andrea spoke eloquently about her childhood and family issues. I know her story helped a lot of people. She did awesome!

I was in a lot of pain, but it’s always good to get to worship…to sing - to be with my C3 family. I would’ve been in pain at home or there…so I’d rather be there. Of course, though, I crashed when I finally got home. I took a bath so hot that my skin was bright red and I was sweating. Then, I slept and slept.

Then, we walked (walking is better than sitting) down to the Italian ice shop. I had a caramel sundae…with rum raisin ice cream!

I sat for a nice long time on the front porch - with my fur blanket and wool scarf…I probably looked like a dork - and watched the sun begin to fade…

I just have to make it a little longer…tomorrow morning - when I can see my doctor. At this point, I’m pretty much counting the hours. I’ve been told (during child birth, etc.) that I have a high pain threshold, but this pain is kicking my tail…it’s just so stinkin’ annoying!

Oh well, tomorrow’s coming.

Now I just have to figure out how to sleep. Maybe I should just eat rum raisin ice cream until I pass out in a sugar coma…

Just kidding! I know that’s nothing to joke about…I only ate a little of my sundae, so DON’T HATE!!!!!

So, it’s “good night” to another good day.

Peace to you all.

Graceful Barbarians

I’ve spent some time, last night and this morning, adding photos to the “Women of C3″ album page. As I have been looking at the photos, I have been inspired and have often become emotional about what I see - and what it represents…

Because I’m on the platform in both services just about every week, I rarely get to see what’s going on in the other services and all of the other places that work is being done (ie: the lobby, the nursery, Powerhouse, etc.). I know how much work goes into doing all that we do every weekend, but seeing the faces and the heart behind the work really moved me.

All that my C3 sisters do, how they love, how they serve - their passion and heart for God, for others, for C3 - it all inspires, moves and humbles me.

I love these women…these Graceful Barbarians - I love them and I thank them for being…

gracefully brave in the fight for love.

They know, as I do, that…

Love Wins - Always.

Look at the faces of the ones who are learning from us, and tell me it’s not worth it! :-)

beautiful little barbarians in training

Beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!

Thank you all - C U At C3!

Peace.
